Flender N-EUPEX Type A 160 Flexible Pin Coupling
The Flender N-EUPEX Type A 160 is the world's most widely specified three-part flexible pin and bush elastomer coupling for industrial power transmission. Engineered to compensate for shaft misalignments (angular, radial, and axial) while effectively damping torsional vibrations and shock loads, the Type A three-part design allows replacement of flexible elastomer packets without moving the driven or driving machinery. Available in 23 standard sizes (size 58 to 710) covering nominal torques from 19 Nm to 85,000 Nm, N-EUPEX couplings feature fail-safe cast iron construction with flexible NBR or TPU packets, and are widely specified across pump drives, fan drives, belt conveyors, compressors, mill drives, and crane machinery.
